@atomicpoet @Lxtruong @shoq @darnell @taylorlorenz that is not possible, because there is currently no fediverse software that will make me quote a post so it also looks pretty for all my Mastodon viewers. Other software can only change my experience, not my viewers experience, and since i care about my viewers experience it can currently not be done

@Lxtruong @atomicpoet @shoq @darnell @taylorlorenz i agree, it is Mastodon that should make a update so it is formatted correctly. I think this will also happen in the next months

@atomicpoet @Lxtruong @shoq @darnell @taylorlorenz yes but it doesn't look like a quote. It is even worse than how it looks if you make it in Mastodon itself.
If everyone agrees that inserting a link to a toot/post means some kind of quote, then it should also be formatted correct in the different kind of fediverse software

Den danske Mastodon server Expressional.social udvikler sig konstant og det gør det til et godt bud på en dansk server du kan flytte til, hvis du vil have din profil på en dansk server. @jippi har virkelig gjort et stort job for at gøre det brugervenligt
